Emilio Aguinaldo Shrine, Kawit

I grow up here in Cavite, funny that it was my first time to visit the shrine last Sept 24, 2016 with friends.

We had our lunch at Hidden Tapsihan (main branch) of course we tried the be selling product which is the TAPSILOG (tapa, sinangag and itlog combo). I like the taste of their suka (vinegar) at mapapa extra rice ka pa. :)

Hidden tapsihan: hanapin nyo ko, hanapin nyo ko?!

Located at: Mascardo Street, Brgy. Wakas, Kawit, Cavite

Then after lunch we went to the shrine.

The shrine is the ancestral home of General Emilio Aguinaldo, the first president of the First Republic of the Philippines. The house was first built in 1845 made from wood and thatch, and reconstructed in 1849. It was in this home where the general was born on March 22, 1869. - wiki

Here's our tour guide tatay toni who manage to explain everything inside the shrine.

The katipuneros back then.

The hidden tunnel inside the house pag labas mo nasa Korea ka na... Joke!.

Did you know that Emilio Aguinaldo is a half Filipino and half Chinese? yeah! this year ko lang na laman. OMG! :P
